Senior UI/UX & Graphic Designer

Your mission
We are seeking a talented Senior UX/UI and Graphic Designer to join our fast-growing fintech/crypto startup based in Berlin.

Our company provides self-custodial wallets and debit cards that enable our users to move their complete life to crypto rails.

As a Senior UX/UI and Graphic Designer, you will lead the design process, from conceptualization to implementation, to ensure a seamless user experience and visually stunning user interface for our web3 platform. In addition to UX/UI and Graphic Design, this role will involve stakeholder responsibilities in dedicated processes and workstreams due to our small company structure.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design process from conception to implementation, ensuring that our web3 platform delivers a seamless and visually stunning user experience.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user behaviour and preferences and apply insights to create compelling designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to align on project goals, scope, and timelines.
  • Design and deliver wireframes, user journeys, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts and ideas.
  • Develop and maintain design standards, including style guides and design patterns, to ensure consistent visual language across the platform.
  • Extend beyond traditional UX/UI and Graphic Design duties to take on stakeholder roles in select front-end engineering projects, such as implementing designs and closely aligning with front-end engineers.
  • Act as a platform owner to ensure the overall consistency and usability of the platform, making informed decisions about features and functionality.
Your profile
Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI and Graphic design, preferably in fintech, crypto, or related industries.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing excellent design skills and a track record of designing successful web and mobile applications.
  • Proven experience with user research, usability testing, wireframing, prototyping, and user interface design.
  • Solid understanding of CMS systems and best practices in responsive and mobile app design.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or related field.

  • A passion for blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies and willing to learn new skills as required.
